I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University in 2005, where I received specialized training in the systemic dynamics that influence how we relate to ourselves and those around us. My early work in residential treatment with teens and their families gave me a deep understanding of complex relational systems and the healing power of connection. I’m also a certified grief educator, trained by David Kessler, which has further shaped my commitment to supporting people through life’s most painful and transformative moments. At the heart of my work is a passion for helping individuals and couples build more authentic, resilient, and fulfilling relationships.
As a certified Relational Life Therapy (RLT) therapist trained directly by Terry Real, I bring a powerful, skills-based approach to couples therapy that goes beyond surface-level communication techniques. RLT offers a unique blend of compassion and directness, helping each partner take accountability for their role in the relationship while also learning how to show up in more connected, respectful, and emotionally honest ways. The tools I use are practical, transformative, and designed to interrupt destructive patterns so couples can build a stronger, more intimate bond—often one that’s even better than before. Whether you're struggling with trust, communication, or emotional disconnection, RLT offers a clear, empowering path forward.
